Expertise: USC Canada is a voluntary organization working to promote strong, healthy, and just communities in developing countries. We work with partner organizations in Africa, Asia, and Latin America to strengthen community livelihoods, promote food security, and support peoples’ actions for social justice and equality. In Canada, we build awareness and support for international social change through public education and policy dialogue.

Features: Since its beginnings in the late 80's, USC Canada's award-winning global "Seeds of Survival" Program has been working with thousands of farmers worldwide to establish sustainable agricultural programs. The idea is to achieve a secure food supply and improve the livelihood of poor farmers in marginalized areas of the world through the preservation, utilization and enhancement of farmers' (landrace) seeds and traditional practices.
