Expertise: AIC is an association comprised of independent consultants working in many fields. The majority of our members, who have years of experience in their area of expertise, have left the corporate fold to excel as experts for hire. The association gives our members a place to meet and continue to learn. We also have a searchable online database of consultants open to the
public, for locating individual experts. To source experts call the office and asking our representative to help locate consultants with a particular expertise.We are a non-profit with no employees. We do have over 250 members.
Mandate: The Association of Independent Consultants (AIC) is a federally registered, non-profit organization dedicated to the growth and professional improvement of independent consultants across Canada. AIC holds educational networking meetings for its members eleven times a year. AIC also holds professional development workshops. All AIC meetings are open to the public for a nominal fee. Members receive THRIVE, a bimonthly Canadian newsletter for consultants and entrepreneurs and has arranged with various suppliers for special deals on growth insurance, long distance, and other services. AIC members are required to practice in accordance to AIC's Code of Ethics.
